I know, I am not doing this to become a writer, I am doing this as a hobby. I thought I would try my hand at creative writing, if there is any suggestions or criticism it is welcome.

It was Sunday the 5th of July, I woke up with my alarm clock going off, I opened my eyes and turned round and looked at my girlfriend Emma, I seen she was already awake smiling at me, I said “Morning” then I gave her a kiss on the lips, she replied “Morning Jonas” I pulled the covers down got out of bed and I walked over to the curtains and I threw them open, it was a beautiful day a smile appeared on my face. “What’s on today’s agenda” she asked I was fixated on the weather outside “Uh.. We could go to the park with the dog and have a picnic?” I replied I was still looking outside loving the weather and the beauty of the garden, the trees, and the buildings, the people in the park, walking past the house – driving past in there cars, the noise everything outside made me feel as if I had not seen it in years.

I stopped looking outside and turned to Emma looking at her beautiful tanned skin, her long blonde hair, her bright blue eyes, suddenly everything turned blurry and blackness appear out of nowhere, I woke from my slumber leaned up against a wall in a bad posture, in dirty military clothes, I looked around the room noticing I had once more entered into this hellish reality, a world torn apart by war, destroyed by nuclear warfare. I picked up my rifle and walked towards the half destroyed toilet, peering at my soldiers as I walked - we we’re a small group of military survivors scavenging the Wasteland for supplies such as food that wasn’t destroyed, clean water and ammunition anything that could keep our survivability rate high.

We had walked miles upon miles to reach the town of Blackwater, it was about a two hour walk from the infested town of Eder hill, Eder hill was a city that was rebuilt after The First Great War with Korea it used to be one of the largest towns in the United Kingdoms, when the Great War of 2073 started, it caused a nuclear holocaust which reduced nearly every town to nothing more than ruins and rubble. Those lucky to survive broke into groups, some worked together to build fortifications to keep out all the monsters & raiders there were going about the Wasteland, some became raiders – looting, killing, burning, doing anything they could just to cause some havoc, others became scavengers tamed some of the mutated wild beasts that were harmless and would barter with those who had built settlements. Men like me, We had become Mercenaries we do nothing more than kill to the highest bidder. We had decdecidedat we would not stop at a settlement and live there, we loved the freedom of being in constant danger, doing what we wanted and earning money so we could buy equipment from the scascavengers

Why is it ok for publishers and editors to always think about the bottom line of making money but writers seemed to be looked down upon for having those same interests. Making money. To me it seems like writers are just expected to write out of passion and never expect any financial rewards.

I've just read an interview (don't know if it's authentic or just made up) with Kristen Stewart who plays Bella in Twilight, and she said she wanted to go to college to take Literature and eventually become a writer.

But she plays Bella Swan. She could get her book published over night just because she's a celebrity and editors/publishers know it will sell due to her name. If she wrote something today, tomorrow she would have a literary agent and within 2 days her book would be going to press, I'm sure. I'm not saying that to put her down; I actually think she probably would be a good writer in real life, but you what I mean.

I also read interviews with Godfather author Mario Puzo, who said he'd been writing for 40 yrs. and finally his publisher suggested writing more about the mafia to try to sell more books (make more money), so he did....and made BIG MONEY.

What are your views on writing to try to make some money or write something commercial to try to get a hit together and why is it so wrong for writers to consider the bottom line when everybody else is?

I'm a junior in college and I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do when I leave. I was at first considering journalism, but with the industry's current situation, I'm afraid to move closer to it. My father keeps telling me to go into law. He tries to push me his own way, but recently, we've come to a little bit of a meeting of the minds. I let him know that I was in no way interested in becoming a mercenary lawyer who just works for whoever will give her a big paycheck. Sure, I do care that I can have enough for a basic standard of living, maybe with a dog, but I can't do something I'm not invested in, so I'd really like to be able to advocate for a good cause with an NGO. Helping to file cases against the owners of puppy mills, for example, or helping lobby for certain types of legislation. But is it worth it to get a law degree to do that, or is there a better path to follow? I'm a good writer and an even better researcher with a solid GPA (3.69 at the end of the last semester).

i want to become a mercinary, and i wqant to know which would be the best one, out of triple canopy, global dynamics and blackwater, or any merc companies frankly. and what would i get paid? what kind of assignments would i get? im looking for some seriose detail, this is a life risking job, but i hear they get paid a lot of money, i want to know what im getting my self into.

They're fighting for the right for the CEO of United Health Care to become even richer. He makes $819,963 per day! And insurance companies know full well that over $800 billion is at stake in this health coverage battle. So how much is this CEO paying these dramatic town hall screamers to fight against a universal (or even a public option) health care plan? Most of these people probably aren't even getting paid a cent by big business. They're doing this for free! How can you stand there at these meetings and defend a billionaire who becomes even richer every time his corporation denies coverage for a life saving procedure? But these people are defending insurance CEO's for free. Hell, if you are going to do that you may as well get a cut of their billions. At least minimum wage. Something. Anything. I am an enthusiastic manga reader and have been for a little over 2.5 years.I have completed reading around 15-25 mangas.But there are some which have stood out.Here's my list in no particular order :-

I am thinking of going down to Mexico and getting some contracts to become a mercenary and fight for the government against the cartels. Step by step, how would I go about getting a few contracts down there? Or is it impossible and they won't hire me?

What did people think of it here's what I thought great finale type episode in that some new things become apparent. All of Michael's work to get back to spying has been undone and he is probably farther from getting back to his chosen profession than he was before. It is about an orphaned slave boy nicknamed Lucky as he joins a Mercenary Team, known across the galaxy as Wild Rose, while they and their rivals (and 'close friends') Running Wolf, after they save him from his execution. Who falls in love with the youngest member of Running Wolf , 'Panther'.

The story begins as Lucky is dragged out of bed on his 18th birthday for execution in the middle of Town Square. While he is saying his final words, Running Wolf is preparing their assassination on Lucky's Master, who is going to execute him. The pilot/sniper for Running Wolf, Serj, is atop a tower with a energy rifle providing suppressing fire while the captain, 'Wolf', and Panther are in the crowd to kill the man. Panther notices Lucky being dragged onto the stage and tells Wolf and Serj via ear piece communicator, then it suddenly turns to a Assassination/Rescue mission because of Wolf's pity towards slaves.

While all this commotion is going on, Wild Rose is trying to gather intel for the JPA, on the enemy that controls the entire sector that the planet is in, known as Talon Company. When Wolf put's their plan for the rescue and assassination in play, Wild Rose's comunication gets all screwy and the Captain, Silver, sends their most experienced CQC fighter to go investigate and that is when Running Wolf and Wild Rose meet. When Wolf and Silver get together they rekindle their old fights from a long time ago but Lucky has to remind them what is going on before they team up to get off the planet, Acton.

When they get off the surface of the planet, they begin to fly Running Wolf to their mothership when it is hit by eighteen missles and is destroyed along with their equpment, belongings, and their jos. Silver then feels like she owes Wolf a favor and requests that they join Team Wild Rose, and through some extreme negotiations (and an argument) Wolf agrees to put Running Wolf's outlaw and criminal ways aside and merge with Wild Rose forming Team Wild Wolf.

Throughout the story, Lucky develops a close friendship with Wolf and is able to learn about his terrible childhood and his relationship with Silver, becomes an experienced member of Wild Wolf, develops his relationship with Panther and helps expose the threat that is the JBA.

Deep in the main land of the world called Symptonia there lies a kingdom grander then any other known. The Palace stretches far across the mountainous hilltop, providing white marble homes for the villagers and traveling merchants. The kingdom, Xentia, had always been peaceful under King Artemis's rule but after his death the pillars of government, that he spent his whole life constructing, crumbled. His two sons were left to pick up the pieces and what they found was a shock to everyone! It seemed the King had been secretly dealing money and weapons to a roaming rebellion that took over other kingdoms to keep his own safe and after his death the Counselors, who ran most of everything, cut off the support to them. This greatly angered the Rebellion who depended on the King’s money and turned against the Kingdom of Xentia. Worse yet, the youngest Prince, was willed to take the crown for the eldest showed no signs of proper behavior for the throne! This had never been heard of and stirred much commotion among the Kingdom. The Rebellion attacked a number of times trying to destroy the outer barrier of the Kingdom and each time the new young King fought along his elder brother with the military to defend his home and in the last battle was greatly injured in the arm and chest.

Now these brothers had been very close, before all chaos broke loose, but rivalry's are springing up now that their homeland is falling apart. After the Coronation of the youngest prince, the elder felt betrayed by their father and by his brother for taking the statues of King from him and turned to hate his kin. The youngest prince, befuddled with the role he was inadequately prepared for and now injured, was to over whelmed by the revolting villagers, the invading rebels, his attempt of trying to make up all the money his father stole form the treasury and pulling the kingdom out of the hell it fell in, to notice his brother's behavior. At least, he was at first. Now the young King has a new enemy to deal with; his own brother. Their best friend, a young lady in waiting, has stood by both for many years and her cheerful attitude seems to be the only thing keeping them together. Yet, as things become desperate, especially for the young king to take a queen and elder prince to take a wife to be a duchess (who they would choose from the ladies in waiting normally) and restore order in their Kingdom, the boys come to realize their true feelings of love for their friend. Bad thing is they both love her, neither will back down, and she’s completely clueless to their feelings. Not to mention she acts more like a boy then any of them and fights along side them in battle! Does the Kingdom of Xentia have a chance with it's own rulers in turmoil?

Now for the other half of the story. The Rebellion. An odd name for rogues that scour the world Symptonia, taking over kingdoms and terrorizing villages. They really don't rebel against anything, except maybe themselves from time to time. Once long ago they came from a peaceful land of their own, ruled by a strong but benevolent King. The days were passed in peace and they were a strong ally to other countries but fate have it the King grew old and soon passed. Having no heir or Queen, the kingdom was left to a well-trusted adviser, that came from royal blood himself and he followed in the old King's traditions. However, the other advisers were tired of peace and being moderately rich. They wanted power, money and lands to rule. They out-right killed the new King and took the land by force, the Rebellion at the time had been the military, who were loyal to only the late King, and the new rulers knew they couldn’t be trusted. So the greedy old men banned the Rebels from their homeland and caused many sufferings.

Now this Rebellion raids the world, made up of soldiers, mercenaries and rogues they pick up along the way. At the moment they have their eyes set on Xentia, an old alley that abandoned them when the advisers took over but until now hadn't the power to raid such a large Kingdom. The Xentia King was even using the money and weapons trade to gain friendship back with the Rebellion, but when the advisers of Xentia took that away, it was the last straw. Yet, the Rebellion did not know that Xentia was having it’s own troubles at the time when the rebels were banished, (this was long before the Princes and the death of their King) and was unable to help them and the mishap has yet to be cleared. The Rebellion felt betrayed and now target the land of Xentia for their own, having a fearless young Leader who fought along side them has made the Rebels confident as ever. This young Leader took over his Father's position to run the Rebellion after the man died and has his sights set on the throne of Xentia, the most powerful Kingdom in Symptonia. To make matters worse he was the one who

injured the young King in battle and saw the Elder Prince and naive lady in waiting and, oddly enough, fell in love with her beauty and oddity. A women who would fight along side men in the heat of battle with a smile on her face was the right women for him! His men and women think he's crazy, but warily, still follow their Leader through thick and thin. The Rebellion waits in the shadows of Xentia's borders waiting for the time to strike!


im lvl 15 in flyff and i just became a mercenary. Where should i go to quest/grind now? and also can someone tell me wat stats/abilities i should get to be a good tanking knight. thanks


I need to do I time line about St Francis for my RE homework and I don't know anything about him besides he was a mercenary for his first shot to be a hero.
I need the year he did that thing and dates like 30th November 1881 don't matter I just want the year
And I also need to ask some people:
Is loving god and loving people the path to becoming a hero?
I have answered this in my own words but I just want to know what other people think, personally I think no, take super hero's for example, the don't love god but you need to love the people so they can expect you helping them and making their world better.That's what I think

Why do United fans start slating any player who leaves them , or any of their transfer target when they choose another club ?

Ronaldo left and all of a sudden from the Best Player In the World , Ronaldo became a diver , whiner , cheat and a useless player who is past his best now.

Next up Tevez he didn't sign for United and he was in the firing line , he became a mercenary as he is looking to join CIty , he became a average forward at best , according to Utd fans , and was not good enough for utd.

*Remember these were the two main players responsible for utds success over the last two years*

Now Benzema , He was a replacement for Ronaldo according to Utd fans , he was the next big thing , the next number 7 , who will threaten the lively hood of EPL defenders for the next decade , To sum up he was everything what united needed ,now he joined Real last night and here is the reaction .

This is ridiculous !
I know all of them wouldn't have slated the players , but atleast 90% of the people who I have seen on the facebook /bbc discussion boards went totally against these player Ronaldo , Tevez and Benzema when they decided otherwise.
And these were the people who were singing the praises of theses players for the past one two years.
I dont really know why but mostly utd fans behave like this.

I have not asked this question to make fun of the utd fans , but as a football fans its disgusting for me to see when you all of a sudden go completely against a player if he dosent joins or leaves your team.

lol , so you think that people living in other countries cant have a say on the EPL ? thats quite idiotic when you consider that the top 4 teams have more non English players then players from England itself , even the the mangers are mostly foreigners , the owners ,everything .Only the stadiums are in England and that it.

I have in 4GB ram 6400, 800MHz it runs without any problem when using windows vista but when I tray to play the game it's becomes slow but not very slow I tray it with GTA IV, and mercenaries 2. also I want to say that my ram is disgend for games.
